I set up The K9 Inn in 2022 to provide your furry family members with a home from home alternative to kennels. Your dogs will be treated as a member of our family and stay in our home alongside myself, my husband, our children, our dogs Oreo & Maggie and our cat Figaro. We aim to make every day fun and entertaining whilst also keeping everyone's safety and security a priority.

We are a very small business, only having up to 6 dogs per day (including our resident dogs). This means I can ensure all dogs are safe and given a high standard of care. All dogs are walked and played with every day, however they are also given time out to rest and avoid becoming overstimulated.

Before making the huge leap with this business, I taught gymnastics for most of my life. I started volunteering when I was 11, qualified at 14 and gymnastics then became my life until I hit 30! However, ever since I can remember, working with animals was always the dream. I've had pets my whole life so I have lots of experience with cats, dogs and lizards. It wasn't until having my children that I felt the real push to pursue my dreams and also allow us more flexibility for family life.

I have a Diploma in Animal Management. I'm first aid trained, DBS checked, insured and licensed under Torbay Council with a 5 star rating.
